Cinnamon blueberry smoothie – summer meets winter
I’ve just had all four wisdom teeth out – not pleasant. After fasting for a day prior to surgery, I’m now on a diet of cool soft foods for an indefinite period. I figure it’s a good time to whip up a smoothie and get some nutrients back into my body. Only two problems: 1) It’s winter, so it’s hard to find perfect smoothie ingredients. 2) I can’t exactly leave the house due to the anesthetic and my puffy face! So I grabbed a few things I had in the kitchen and came up with this cinnamon and blueberry smoothie.
Cinnamon blueberry smoothie
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup rice milk (you can use any kind of milk of course; I like to stick to rice or soy)
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon honey
Blend until smooth and runny. Enjoy!
